We needed a picture which could visually express
MORANERA’s essence to personalise the CD cover.
Words, if you properly listen to them, take you
where you have to go. And suddenly we were taken to a wonderful
collection of Leo Matiz’s photograph exhibited in Milan
in 1993…and there a totally unexpected image emerged where
you needed no more words: an apparently careless look, so sensual
and attractive, an orchid that’s not by chance between her
lips, and hair as raven-black as it gets.
A photograph of the great Leo Maitz. He’s
a photographer who caught and in his pictures personalised important
people such as Neruda, Fidel castro, Diego Rivera, Luis Bunnel
and who have told about South America with its beauty and contradiction.
Alejandra Matiz takes now care of her father’s
inestimable patrimony through Leo
Matiz association. Her openess and kindness allowed Moranera
to publish the picture for free on the CD and, now, even on this
web site.
