are a no-profit Association and that’s why we decide to devolve
1/5 of what we raise from selling our first Cd “Mediterraneo”
to the Association. |

| It’s not been a fortuitous choice. Manuel Rumi Association is devoted in building water wells in Africa. “water” is life for people who live in such extreme condition. And it’s a great satisfaction for us to know that one fifth of our CD becomes water. It’s for us a debt of gratitude and respect for African people from whom we received such a huge cultural patrimony. Manuel Rumi Association have built 46 wells in 14 years of activity. They are about to build a well 200mt away from where the Manuel’s lifeless body has been found. We felt his father satisfaction when he told us : “I’ve been waiting for this news for 14 years”. |

| Then, he pointed to the top of a well in a photograph where it was written MANUEL 2000 and said: ” …a tuareg wrote with his finger my Manuel name on top of the well before then the clay got solid”. The simple and poetic action reminded Manuel and thanked Mario. The Association is devoted to a very important activity in schools. With the beautiful pictures that Mario takes during his expedition, they produce several documentary and show them to the students. That’s a very aware and clever way to excite youth’s sensitivity and culture who is daily used to very different images. |
